Project | 01

Project | First Fully IT Enabled Amusement Park in the Country

This project was the most interesting challenge till date. The highlight of it was the completion in time as against all expectation. This was the most complex of all the projects as it included 5 unique IT projects - involving Power redundancy/ Camera and Surveillance Equipment’s/ Paging and announcement & internal communication setup/ Automate Parking system/ more than 150 gates & rides were to be automated. Integrating all as a single system along with the Core ERP.

 

  • The Website is created using Drupal

  • Aloha Systems implemented for Food and Hospitality Management

  • Erben Control System implemented for Parking Management

  • Intercard Systems implemented for managing the access gates and rides

  • Microsoft Dynamics & Microsoft CRM all modules implemented as the core ERP

  • Drupal used for content Management

  • Infrastructure includes VLANs/ Fiber/ WAN involving Indoor & Outdoor Racks/ CISCO Network/ 200 Cameras/ Audio Dynamics/ Security Management. The basic challenge was to design the network as it has to withstand a temperature range of 0-50 degrees.

  • Designing & Integration of heterogeneous databases from all system to the core ERP

Project | CISCO unified Solution

The First of its kind of DataCenter built by me in the country while am in IRAQ. Unified Communications enabled all new way to communicate. This comprehensive, integrated IP communications system of voice, video, data, and mobility products and applications allowes a use your network as an intelligent platform for effective, collabora-tive, scalable, and secure communications to better run your business. When your communications systems are closely integrated with an intelligent IT infra-structure, the network is transformed to a “human network” in which your business moves with you, security is everywhere, and your information is always available—whenever and wherever it’s needed. It gave the organisation the ability to access information on demand, to interact with virtual teams all over the world, and to manage these interactions on the go, in real time—as if you were everywhere at once.

 

The cost of thecomplete project was a mere $88,000 USD.

What we got is a Complete Data Center built with CISCO Blade Server, Virtual Server Environment, Back-up systems and Business contunuity sol., Network Security, Core Colaboration, Video Conference & IP Telephony and Instant Messaging & Voice Mail. Added to these other equipments required in seting up the Data Center like raised floor, power redundancy etc.

Project | 03

Project | Evaluating & Implementing Core Banking System

This was a challening and most rewarding project till date. Almost a turnkey as as had to deal with almost all aspects of IT as shown below (Click on it to See it big). I was entrsted with the Project and its success, as then the business would totally depent on the CBS. Hence, 1st the need was to understand the existing BRMFO system and then check on the gaps - then to execute as per the alloted budget. 

 

The evaluation & selection Process went through for stipulated 5 months, where the 5 Best Core Banking System were evaluated. The Final 3 were presented to Board for approval. The evaluation was done on the basis of Functional Capabilty v/s SRS, Scalability, Mobility, Speed, Security, Migration Capability and likewise as per the Best Pracices. A seperate study and documentaton were done, involving all the HODs and stake holders - for Rerquirements of Reports and the Work-flow processes.

 

Further to ensure the success - other gaps were required to be identified and reolved, Hence to empower, sub-projects to were looked at and worked out systamatically to suit the final dead line which included :

  1. Implemetaion of BI tool for strategic and intutive management reports with "What-If Analytics".

  2. Setting up a small data center and virtualisation of Server Farm to arrest cost of server's

  3. Automation of Backups on external media.

  4. Interconnectivity of Branches & its network Resiliances.

  5. Minimum time (Zero) & IT cost ($50 USD) for opening new branches.

  6. Provisioning of Repayments of loans using Mobiles.

  7. Cashless Transactions for Lendings.

  8. To amalgamage all a HelpDesk was required - Free (Open Source) issue management s/w implemneted

 

These being the features and not to mention - there were all possible odds incuding changes in business policies due to new laws.
